The Alpaca Book

Arctic fox fur color?
In a book I read about the arctic fox, I saw he said, they lose their coat in the spring and develop a new brown. In other readings and Web sites it says they "change" colors. Are they which implies the same thing or any bad? If yes, why do people hunt foxes rather than collecting their fur their habitats? The People would go, resulting in more fur and more people would be attracted to it because it would be humane, as the Alpaca, but more because it super insulation and they would in their natural environment
They lost their mantle as we lose our hair, and when they get a new season it is of a different color. I think the books are both saying the same thing. The problem with collecting each hair is that it would almost impossible to connect to a coat. Currently, fur coats fox use any skin with hair still attached. Hope that helps.
